I thought I had a line on a 56' Bass

I get there and it's really a 65'
maybe the guy is dislexic?
the bridge and pick ups have been changed out
it's original finish and used hard over the years
and he wants to throw in a nady system
he's got velcro taped on the front to hold the nady receiver on!
i had a great time talking and seeing all his gear and pictures
he's played rock-a-billy for ever
but do i need a 65 jazz?

I hope you didn't have to drive too far. It's always disappointing when that happens. Then again, weren't Jazz basses from that era, early to mid 60's, the ones to have?
