    Pedal order

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'd like to hear what you think considering the pedals that I use. How would you order the following pedals?

    -Budda Bud-wah
    -AMZ Mini-Booster
    -Fulltone '69 Pedal
    -HBE Ultimate Fuzz Octave
    -Tech 21 Roto Choir
    -Fulltone Mini-Deja Vibe
    -Voodoo Lab Tremolo
    -Catalinbread Belle Epoch
    -Malekko Omichron Spring
    -Sonic Research Turbo Tuner

Then, if possible, I'd get a simple A/B switch and take your tuner out of line.

My thinking is this: hit the '69 first - it's got a Germanium transistor (I think) and likes to be hit first. Then wah, which I would generally hit first, but the '69 takes precedence. Then the other fuzz. Perhaps A/B either before or after the boost pedal, and then the modulation, echo, and reverb devices.

Some like to put the Vibe device nearer to the beginning but I don't like too many things before fuzz. Oh, and the reason the fuzzes are separated by the wah is that gives you the 'wah-after-fuzz' sound (think Dinosaur Jr.) and the 'wah-before-fuzz' sound (which is cleaner and more transparent in that '60's way).

    Just my $.02

I should try this just to prove whether it's horrible or not (I'll bet it's not).

Why should the Turbo Tuner be out of line on an A/B switch?

I go both ways on the wah-->fuzz/fuzz-->wah debate.

I should mention that I prefer the sound of phasers and vibe before fuzz and I never use the Roto Choir with fuzz.

Doesn't need to be in the path, might add noise. This one's up for debate. If all other things were equal, I might be inclined to put the tuner in just before the modulation effects.

That being the case, I'd still only put a few things before the fuzzes because of their tendency to amplify any line noise that's put into them. The same reason why most people put their pedal compressors near the front of the line - so that line noise does not get compressed and expanded...

So, perhaps you're best off putting the roto choir and vibe first, then the '69 => wah => octave fuzz, then the boost, then the tuner and then the tremolo, echo, and reverb. Just shootin' from the hip here.
