My first bass player ran a 60's Jazz through a 400 watt Peavy head into two EV Eliminator cabinets made of 1" ply covered with Formica (no resonance in the cab) and it sounded like God's piano. I'll bet these things could cause gastrointestinal accidents to the back row of a medium sized theater.
