    Since you asked for it

I did a bit of a remix on my song from the other thread (please listen...) and hosted it in a different place.

    128kbps, full song.

MKG, you were right, I needed to re-automate the solos to pan them correctly. Thanks.

    Enjoy! Or something.

    Again, critiques are welcome.

    "Rock on..."

Pete, this is a cool track. I like the rockabilly sound and feel of it.
Drums sound nice and tight, could use maybe one or two more breaks...but they are authentic sounding.
Bass is laying in nicely, as are guitars, and your playing is right on the money.
Having made a few recordings myself, I know how it feels to listen to one's own vocal...scary as hell! But you did a good job. A slight pitch problem here and there, but nothing as bad as it probably sounds to you.
    A couple of suggestions:
You might consider layering an acoustic guitar track in there at a level where it's just barely heard. This can add body to a track.
Sometimes I play two different takes of the same acoustic rhythm part and pan them to each side.
Do a vocal harmony with your lead vocal track on the chorus. This adds interesting detail for the listener and sets the hook apart...and the lyric hook is a major element in bringing the listener back for more.
Great track, Pete, and I look forward to hearing more.
