    spec's on a MIM Robert Cray neck

    Anyone know what the neck profile is on a cray strat?

    Thickness at 1st & 12th?

    I just picked up a RC neck for a project guitar. Measures .84 and .96 at 1st and 12th. I like the neck a lot.

    The neck from my 2006 RC shows similar dimensions. With a 9.5" fretboard radius.

    I measured mine at .839 at the 1st and .947 at the 12th.

    I think the shoulders on this neck give it the substantial feel. I have a Gibson Jr Bender that measures .830 but feels much smaller like a medium sized neck as compared to the Cray which feels to me in the large camp.

    I had one it felt thick like my R8. It was the shoulders as said above more than the thickness.

    It was the thickest feeling Strat I have owned.
