    Indeed...
I sent the fella the stock block so he could make sure all the holes were in the appropriate places, and the length was set specifically for the shallow body of the Squier.
Just fit it and it seems perfect. Just enough clearance at the back of the body and all the holes seem to line up...
Also took the opportunity to fit some bent steel saddles for the vintage aesthetic. Just waiting for some new tuners so I haven't strung it up yet...

    This is his ebay link.
Not sure if the savings would be as dramatic if you were buying from America. But for a custom made block using my original as a template, custom length to fit the shallower body...
I just contacted him through the ebay listing, sent him my block, he invoiced me through paypal and I had the finished product within a week of sending him mine!

    That's http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Steel-trem...item2327f4c0d2

I have had to entrust the Squier to a guitar tech as the new tuners were slightly bigger and the holes needed reamed out a touch.

Finally sorted the intonation out (first time I've done intonation, feel I'm getting the hang of the stroboflip). Need to tweak the string heights a bit, but here's the pictures with the new trem block in and new tuners. Took off the second string tree.
