Would you take this Squier CV deal? Answer quickly, please.

I'm at GC for the sale. I could get new small monitors and an Arturia desktop keyboard, both things that would improve workflow..

Or I could buy a brand new Squier CV Tele that feels kinda nice for $289 because some foodie chipped the edge where your right arm rests.

Well? How is the neck position routed on this guitar? What would you do?

    "Foodie?" I guess that's auto-correct for "doofus."

The route on all but the thinline is H S . Thats is H neck S bridge.
    The thinline is SS.

IDK about the price they go used quite often in mint shape for 250.

Oh what would I do? I would wait for a better condish used cheaper.

Up here a guy is selling a CVC and LTD surf green Blues Jr. only a few months old for 550. 250 for the CVC 300 for the amp. Deals are out there.

Agreed. I got the Arturia mini-keyboard and the Tascam "Awfultones" instead. Much better decision... I was just gripped by Cheap Guitar Fever for 'arf a mo'.

Postscript: the guitar guy walked through pro audio while I was ringing up. Told I lost interest. He offered the guitar for $269. I said, naw, I can get one that isn't all banged up for less than that. Offered him 2 bills... it would have brought my total well over the $299 need to get an extra 15 percent off one item, the highest priced one, so I already knew the computer would discount it to $170 if he went for it. But no dice.

The asshats at my local GC have the computer programmed against double dipping...in other words you get the manager's discount OR the coupon/store discount. Pretty much made me lose interest in even walking in their door anymore, for guitars at least.

RJ, same thing happened to me at Christmas time. I was sooooo pissssssed. I used one discount, went out and put it in the car, then went back in and used the second discount. Told the guy he could've made things easier
