    Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

Anyone here gonna go see this? I bought a ticket for the Oct. 23d show (in Montreal). I don't think the tour has started yet, so I'm not sure what to make out of it. I hope it's not too cheesy.

From what i understand it's music and multi-media. The part I seen on youtube was him and his Dad via giant screen doing Moby Dick togther. Looks like it would be a good time.

Yes, so far all the critics are goods. I'll let you know if it was worth the $50 in 2 days...

I saw them play last week when they played in Montreal and it was a night to remember. I won't say anything else cause I don't want to spoil it for you but there are quite a few nice things going on at the show. Highly recommended.

Glad you can see them. Have fun with your daughters.

Killer show and I agree that it was a night to remember. I was looking forward to seeing this but I have to say that i didnt think it was gonna be as good as it was and Jason seemed very gracious that we all shared his passion for his dads band.

Dude, I'm really glad you had a good time. How did your daughters like the show? Did they know Zeppelin a little prior to the show?

Re: Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

My daughters and wife really enjoyed the show. They knew all the songs due to me being a total zepster. I play alot of Zep in my band and they hear me rehearsing Zep quite often. That show was very entertaining with all the video clips. How could anyone not like it. I met up with 2 friends at that show. These guys go to concerts pretty much every weekend and they had super high praise for it.

Heres some Facebook quotes from the 2 guys and me that says it all and keep in mind that one of the guys saw Zep in 77 and they both saw Plant and Page a few years back.

    Perry:
"Jason Bonhams Led Zeppelin Experience...was awesome, beyond a tribute band. Like hearing a 1975 bootleg live. Zeppelin fans, this is as close as we'll get to the real thing. "

    Me
"I agree. I consider that show another chapter in the history of Led Zeppelin. Awseome show, well produced, the dude did do a gig as the drummer of led Zep and he has the DNA. Good enough for me."

    Gregg
"I agree with you. It was heartwarming to see the Bonzo footage as well as a very young Jason. Too bad for all the people who didn't get to see the show. Ask Perry about 6-7-77."
