Order off his website, Kinman.com. He may list dealers on his site but I think most of his sales comes from the site. Just as an aside, I've run Kinman Blues in my #1 strat for nearly four years and have been very pleased.

I was seriously considering the Hank Marvin set, but for some reason I can't remember, got the Blues set.

I've always ordered online direct from Kinman. Australia is as close to the opposite side of the world from where I live and haven't had any issues shipping to or from there. If I recall correct, my order has always arrived within 10 working days, sometimes less.

The Hank Marvin set is sweet. Smoother and more plump that any of the other Kinman Strat sets. I keep going back and forth between them and my Blues set...

    LOL.

I'm just lucky enough to have both sets. But I will be honest, my Blues set does seem to get more playing time. So if i had to choose just one of them, it would likely be the Blues set.

    There. Feel better now?

I've had woodstocks which INMHO were very bright and switched to blues 5 years ago which are in my #1 out of 3 strats. No doubt in my mind Kinman Blues are a great choice. Of course, the music you play could drive a different choice.

    Re: kinman pickups

I agree with Stratcat. The first Kinmans I tried in my Strat clone were Woodstocks. They were bright and harsh on the pick attack. I adjusted those pickups until I finally gave up. Just not for me. The Trad MK whatever they were are too thin for me. I could see using them if a person wanted an early 50's sound. I don't play my Fenders much so the Blues is okay enough for me. I'm a humbucker guy at heart, but enjoy a good Tele and Strat sound from time to time.
