sort of, yes. from what i've gathered you can just wire it in like normal and use it that way. but, there are a couple of other ways you can wire it too. don't know how that changes the response, but supposedly it does. sorry for the lack of info, but that's all i know. it's kind of a mystery component.

Their a resistor in parallel with a cap.
But what voltage are they good for, low volatge in guitar use, or in circuit amp use where they need to be rated fro at least 400 volts?

I'm doing one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" guitars, which is not really my thing, but I thought I might try one.
Normally I barely use the controls at all. A little volume or tone roll off, that's about it.
I had these in a parts box, so I thought maybe put em in see what they sound like.
