That guitar must have had some real tuning issues to need both locking tuners and a locking nut.
I know what they're saying here..but it just strikes me as funny.

Aside from the handful of people who routine smashed their Strats, who the hell wears out their original shim?
Following that vintage logic, this shim would almost have to have belonged to Hendrix, Townsend, Blackmore... for a few hundred less, maybe Yngwie.

Good idea refin! I've been watching this one for a while, as it is relisted and relisted...and relisted. It first went up for sale when Micheal Jackson died back in June last year, for a Buy It Now of $30,000. Since then the price has slowly come down, $27k, $25k, $22k, $20, $15k (it hovered there for a while), so on and so on all the way down to its current asking price:

I keep waiting to see if the price will come down to, say, $50 (and nobody will buy it then either). Or if he will just give up altogether. But he just keeps on listing. He's probably spent $50 in lisitng fees by now.

Good job it's a 72, them 71's and even 73's just ruin the look of a good guitar IMHO.

Wow! After seeing that Boss Vibrato video, I feel a whole lot better about MY guitar playing.
so he got it 2 years back, it comes with a 5 year warrenty, but it's broken (kind of).. um am I missing a step or is he?
