Picked up a Classic Vibe Tele Custom today. GC's "Rocktober" event started on Friday, and they had one at the store near me reduced to $299.00. When I got home, I had gotten the Rocktober flyer in the mail that day, which included a $30.00 off coupon (on a purchase of $199.00 or more). I decided to wait and go back on Sunday, and if it was still there, then maybe it was meant to be.
Well...it was still there, and now it's home with me. It was tough to pass up at $269.00.

And here she is...
No birdseye or flame on the neck, but I still think she's purdy.

Purdy she is!
Way too much guitar for so little $$$
Smokin' Deal, congrats!
A buddy of mine just gigged his and it sounded pretty good from where I was sitting (running through an AC-30).
Tone is in the fingers, eh? Let's hear your Vox, Marshall and Fender fingerings then...
jumpin' on the Squier CV Tele custom bandwagon. I needed an axe here in Afghanistan that was robust and inexpensive. This one fit the bill. Plus I got free shipping from MF!!!
Coming full circle. IN the mid '80s, I coveted a cream/butterscotch tele and bought a Squier-alike and hung on to that for a few years Strayed through many different guitars over the last 25-odd years. Bought a Road Worn Tele this summer and decided that this is my go to guitar for a number of different reasons and was the guitar I envisioned owned back when I was a teenager. Now, back with one of the Tele's I started off with those many years ago! Funny how life is!
