    Smallish Monitor/Pa Enclosure Recommendations

I've been performing as an electric duo for a while and I'd like to get a set of monitors that can double as PA mains. I'll be using them primarily as PA mains if I can find a good set that will suffice.

I'm looking more for clarity & quality than power ratings as we play at a relatively low volume. I'll be powering them with a Peavey 600 head / mixer.

    Price is an issue btw.

    Thanks in advance.

I've used the peavey PV 12M monitor with the same head you have. They have multi angle use for monitors, and have the pole mount, which I used on stands for small gigs. I thought they worked great. They run about $200 each, but usually can find some online discount codes. Yamaha might be good choice, but they are a bit more price wise.

When I play larger gigs we use them for monitors, & run PR15's for mains.

I actually like the sound of the 12's for mains better than the 15's I have.

I've had good luck with Peaveys as well. But another one you may want to consider is Kustom. MF sells those 112with a Horn (or a couple of 110 setups or a 115) pretty cheap and they actually sounded decent enough... hard to beat for the price.

I also have the same head, an older model but built like a tank. I've been using the Kustom 10"/horn wedges for awhile with both Crossfyre, and Johnny B. $ the MVP's, and we've got a pair at church. For putting mainly vocals through, and acoustic guitar, and a little bit of electric guitar, they're a treat, and very cheap. Also, since they can be stand-mounted, I've used them as mains for my solo acoustic gigs.

I ended up buying a set of Peavey PV15M monitors. They work and sound very good and fit the bill nicely.
