Apparently, Gibson's CEO ain't the easiest man to please either......

Henry's too busy positioning himself for a Nobel Prize nomination to be bothered with the more mundane corporate duties......namely trusting his subordinates to design and produce quality instruments at affordable prices. Atilla The Hun interfaced more effectively with his management staff than this clueless meglomaniac.

Great find, PM!
Hey, Gibson sounds like the co. I used to work for. The tactic of handing out tough jobs with impossible deadlines sounds familiar too.
Only in my case I pulled it off with flying colors, so naturally that didn't get mentioned when they let me go...
Of course THE ONLY thing that matters anymore is the performance of the company's stock. Anyone know how to find that out? I'm not really plugged in to that community.
This guy could be Satan himself, spawn of Adolf Hitler....but if the stock is performing well.....He's in.
I wonder how that weird SG they recently put out is doing. It's pretty much a plywood bodied guitar. The Tone Gods can't be happy about that.
One of the reviews said the company is privately held, in which case there wouldn't be any publicly traded shares or stockholders to worry about.

No stock price, and profits are likely very high, so in the eyes of the owner, the company is doing great.
Well I've purchased six new Gibson guitars in my half-century on this rock.
There won't be a seventh -- of that I am certain.

It never happened......

Redacted just like some Washington weasel facing the threat of a Justice Department probe or a special prosecutor.

I still want to get myself a nice '61 Reissue SG, or one of dem SG classics with the P-90's... besides that I'm mostly over my Gibson craze, Hence why I hang here more than I do on the "other" forum...
