    '65 Mustang

    Here's a pic from the '80s of my '65 or '66 Mustang-

Note the Beatles album, 45 rpm records, Duncan pickup boxes, Schaller tuners box, Ibanez pedals (The TS-9 cost me $15 used. The AD-9 cost about $100 when I bought it new in '83!) and Concert II amp.

Here's the whole collection as of 1989-

The Blue Strat was a new '88 Strat Plus, the sunburst Strat was a '57 Re-Issue that I bought new in '86, The Black Tele was a MIJ Squier that I bought new in '84. I put a Fender Brassworks bridge on it and later put the original 3 section bridge back on it. I put Duncan pickups in both the '57 Re-Issue and Tele.

They're all long gone, including the couch!

Is that a Korg tuner at the foot of the Amp?

Yep. I had one of those, after I broke my Zen-On.

Yes. It is. It was a great amp. I sold it soon after to buy my '66 Vibrolux Reverb. I owned it from about 1982 to 1989 or 1990.

I can't remember. It had a needle (I suppose all the portable tuners did back then).

I just realized lest night that those Schaller tuners are on my son's guitar and that he still has the Arion Stereo Flanger.

I still have all the albums and the milk crates are under my VR.

Seems like a good move, ultimately. A great amp for a greater amp.

I still have all my LPs, too. I haven't had a working turntable in years and years, but I can't bring myself to get rid of the vinyl. I keep thinking I'll get a nice turntable again someday.

    Re: '65 Mustang

I just recalled that I paid $175 for the Mustang, never bonded with it and sold it for $225. I thought that was a big deal at the time!
