ebay item opinion needed.

Having just bought a very nice S/H Eastman 615 F Style Mandolin from the USA ( Proper Store) I was interested in seeing what price similar items went for. I was watching this same mandolin, but with a pickup, on ebay. Its only been on 4 days. Yesterday the reserve price hadnt been met. Today its been sold for a price wayyyyy lower than it should have fetched. I have seen No other 615 prices sell for this , nearly £300 less than any other price on the net. Is it possible that the seller has pulled a fast one somehow.?

Sometimes stuff goes cheaply on ebay. It's the nature of the beast, especially during a recession.

Keep an eye out Ron to see if he relists, could be that it just went cheap as Kap'n said.

More likely is that the buyer and seller came to a private sale off ebay (no matter what the end price was) that happens ALL the time on ebay.
