Bono's Mystery Tele

In watching a clip of U-2 playing "When Love Came to Town",
I noticed that Bono is playing, what looks to be a black Tele Deluxe
with the 2 humbuckers and 4 blackface knobs (china hat)
The one thing that does not look right is that,,,the headstock shape is the typical tele, and not the strat shape which it should be.
Is this a mod that Bono did, or is this some Fender knock-off,
such as an early Hohner MIJ Tele Style?
