    Re: Replacement Pickguards

    i've used a bit from http://www.warmoth.com/Pickguard/PickguardGuitar.aspx
now, i don't really know how well they line up on production guitars, i've mostly used them on custom builds. but the quality is nice, and they ship fast. warmoth is in oregon so it's 3 days shipped to me. sometimes they're back logged, but normally it's a pretty fast turn around.

there are other places that cut guards also, but i've never used them so i let someone else comment on them.

    best of luck.

    Re: Replacement Pickguards

I bought one from my local Fender dealer. One thing to remember when ordering, if you don't want to drill additional holes is to count the number of screw holes. Fender American Standard differ in the number of screws they use to attach and locations differ from custom shop etc.

I've gotten stuff from Warmoth. Always high quality. And I have put their pickguards on Fender bodies without troubles.

    Re: Replacement Pickguards

I just ordered a mint green for my MW off of Ebay. That tends to be my default. I'll Google to find other stores and brands and price check, but usually end up on Ebay to find the cheapest price.

I'll let you know in a few days if it's a piece of crap.
