VOX AC30 - $650 (Marianna, FL)

Great amp! If you know anything about VOX, then you know these amps will cook tubes. To resolve this problem I cut a rectangular opening in the front (which is where the tubes are) and placed an EQ grill guard over it. I have never blown a tube since. My family is growing and I need to sell some things. I love this amp. This is a 2x12 amp. It has the Warfdale speakers, not the celesion blues. The tubes are matched JJ/Tesla <1 years old with low hours. Bought the amp about 4 years ago. It is not a vintage VOX, but has that sweet vintage tone. $650 •Location: Marianna, FL

Damn, at least its not a vintage VOX. When you make a mod like that it pretty much becomes yours for eternity or one gives it away.

I once nearly fell over when I saw a vintage fender cab being used as a bookcase several years ago and outfitted with several shelves in it.
