Anyone tried to plug an ext. 4x12" to a Blues Jr.?

Just wondering.. If the amp could pull it of in a decent way.. Think I'll try it out at the next rehearsel.. Got an outdoor gig commin' up, and could need the extra punch...

I've heared it done a few times. Turns that leetle 15-watt amp into a real screamer......a "big" sound wiffout the pain of some half-stacks.

Make sure your cab is 8Ω 'cause tha's what that Blues Junior wants to see.

if the 4x12 has efficient speakers (high SPL rating) it will seem much louder. If I recall the stock one is 97db
do I look like I know what I'm doing?

I've done it numerous times (with 5 watters also), and the results are huge. By pushing more air (also using more efficient speakers), the small amps are quite loud, and far louder than you would expect.
    POO DAT!!!
