Doesnt say what kind of Ash they are useing. Northern "hard" ash? Pretty plain spalt on that maple top compared to some of the exot-ique bodies available on Ebay.
Maple cap (wit possibly hard ash body) guitar is going to be very bright I would think.They are even makeing alot of new Teles out of alder and rewinding the pickups for a thicker sound to kind of balance that traditional/vintage ear icepick we all know and love on the warm/bright classic soft southern Ash tele body w/ traditional low output pickups.
Grovers are a real plus. Texas specials should work well with that guitar
For a simple and fun guitar for the bread, looks like it wouldnt be a loafer.
