Nice blues setup, or rockabilly with the TTE!

That is a like a dream team setup. Since you have that goldtop with the P90's, I have a question. I completely reworking a cheap guitar I have and want to replace the pickups with P90's. However, the humbuckers have the typical plastic humbucker mount that just screw into the body. How do those P90's mount into a guitar??? I don't see any mounts? Is the mount under the cover???

If you look closely P-90s have 2 screws in the middle of the pickup that attach directly to the body. There's usually a piece of foam underneath to act as an offset to allow for adjustment up and down.

Yes. Inline with the polepiece screws, there are height adjustment screws between the G and B and the A and D string polepiece screws.

I can't say very much because the keyboard is all wet from drool. Killer combination for blues.

Re: New Bassman amp and goldtop

Wish I could have heard it. One thing I notice in person or on clips of guys like Sean Costello (rip), Bob Margolin and John Fogerty when they're playing the '54 or reissue, is that they spend most of their time on the neck pickup. It's the biggest, fattest, baddest tone out of a single coil I've heard.

Back to Fender, Bob plays through a Bassman occasionally but I haven't heard that guitar through a Bassman yet. My "Baby Bassman" 5F4 homebrew might be close though, no?

This guitar is also perfect for R&B.
