    Early 60's hardtail replica

I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it. I ended up doing the body twice as the first go around was way overdone. The modern neck feels fantastic especially with the worn down satin nitro back.

Warmoth black alder body (hand finished nitro)
Warmoth "Pro" maple and rosewood neck (10"-16" compound radius,
22 SS6105 jumbo stainless frets, hand finished nitro)
Sperzel locking staggered tuners (pearloid buttons)
    Graph Tech TUSQ nut
    Fender '62 mint green pickguard
    Fender Original '57 / '62 pickups
Fender USA '62 vintage hardtail bridge
    D'Addario EXL110

    Love the color-coordinated vibe!

I guess they's only a few of us who really appreciate the hardtails......

Thanks. I think its the relic part that turns people off. Who couldn't love a hardtail?

    Restrained and elegant......very tasteful.

In all candor, I did not care for this guitar in its initial incarnation. But the redux looks absolutely stunning. Well worth the extry effort you put into it, Sting.

    Thanks

I'm surprised you remember the original body. I really didn't like the white primer so I stripped it down to bare alder and started again.

    Well done.
I have decided to be happy because it's good for my health.
