If you like the look of an old beat up Strat...

    ....then...

    ....you're welcome

What I wouldn't give to be able to go back in time and buy about 20 of these and store them away in my attic......

.....ok, and MAYBE play them a bit.....

    .....a lot, actually.....

that thing looks like it was stored in a musty old house, shed, basement or barn.

played it through his very frayed and worn tweed Deluxe cranked in a big club with no mic. It kept it from overdriving too badly. The neck pickup is worthless.

That second strat is gorgeous. Too bad the stuff is all owned by the collectors now and not so much the guys that play 'em! Oh well, that's why there's the ever-affordable and easilly personallized parts-o-caster, I guess.

I started playing back in '85 when I was a senior in high school. I can remember blackface Fender amps going for $200, and OLD LP's, Strats, and Teles going for no more than $500. Everybody wanted a $700 Charvel or a BC Rich. Someday that stuff will probably get valuable again, although it will be a while.
...and on the 8th day, God created the Super Reverb and there was ROCK, and it was GOOD!
