T Build finished, feeling good now

Man, I've been really blue lately. Business is dragging bad, economic meltdown, bailout blues big time!

Had to sell a guitar to pay the rent. Shipped it out today, said my goodbyes. Paid the rent so I feel a bit better.

Then I finished putting together my T Build, now that's better.
Something leaves but something comes, balance is restored.

Here she is: lightweight relic ash blonde body by Billy Rowe at RockNRollRelics with a 59/60 Slab Board T neck by the mighty E of Revelator. Under 6 pounds of joy and delight, a monster killer. Alnico IIIs front and back, baby's got back!

And here are my two Billy Rowe Ts together:

I'm not usually a fan of relics, but damn, that looks great!

I'm not much of a "relic" fan myseff. But those are two of the most tastefully executed examples I've ever seen......you can almost smell the mojo!

Wow, thanks for the comments! Especially hearing from non-relic fans who commented "well done".

I like lightly done relics as well--these are not lightly done, but there is something very cool about that thin, thin finish and the worn through places, the wood feels so good to hold!

I love new, shinny guitars too, and real vintage, clean and minty, or rode hard put away wet--so many wonderful flavors!

I was thinking the same thing but didn't know how to say it. It looks like it smells like an old guitar!

Some better pics of the Revelator neck:

Yes, it's mojo you can smell--and mojo you can feel!
