    Finally getting somewhere w/my Musicmaster:

Here it is! My 1961 Musicmaster. I mentioned this guitar in another thread once. I sprayed this body Shell Pink w/no clearcoats & no amber tint. So what you are looking at is genuine DuPont Shell Pink-
    W/FLASH:

    NO FLASH:

Fender rarely shot clearcoats on the cheaper, student model guitars. That's why my daughter's '63 Oly White MM is stark white.
This body is nearly w/out flaws except where I dropped the friggin screwdriver on the face while installing the bridge (shoot me, please), & a lot of weather checking from sitting in the garage for all this time.
Future plans include a Duo-Sonic Pearloid pickguard.

Never been much of a fan of SP myseff but I gotta admit -- that color looks like it belongs on that guitar.......a refreshing change-of-pace from the more common Sonic Blue or Dakota Red. I once had the opportunity to buy a Duo-Sonic in Desert Tan with the gold anodized pickguard -- yeah yeah, call me stoopid for passin' on it!

Gonna look schweet with the pearloid pickguard methinks.

    ARGH! I feel your pain.

Looks sweet, though. From one manly pink guitar owner to another.
