to bridge or not to bridge?

all things being equal, and not using any stereo effects, is it better to run your pa stereo or mono? we're talking pretty bare bones set up-mixer, one 900W amp, 1 2500W amp, two 15" mains w/horns and 2 15" subs. mostly for vocals, occasionally put the kick and snare in, rarely run everything thru the board. rock/country/punk band playing small to mid-sized rooms, with the rare outdoor gig (by outdoor i mean like a patio or a small town street dance).

Re: to bridge or not to bridge?

moot point: got to the gig, set up bi-amped w/ the pv900 on mains and the shs 2500 on subs, and the subs sounded like ass, could barely drive them without clipping like the raiders in the 70's, in stereo or bridged mono. so we wound up using one channel of the pv for mains and the other for subs, sounded cleaner than we ever have. guess the shs amp wasn't such a good deal after all. time to trade 'em bothe in on something much bigger and mo' better.
