That is an great score! They are reputed to be excellent guitars. Quartersawn maple neck? Looks like from the top.
Maybe. That's why it looks funny? There's no real flame or anything.

There were tag sales all over town this weekend, and I always keep my eye peeled. Closest I came was a Vox Pathfinder last summer. Didn't buy it but I spied the grill cloth from 50 yards away.

Yeah, they also screwed up the pickguard for a truss rod adjustment. I could replace them, but they're function, if ugly.
The trem block isn't stripped yet, but it's loose. I may shell out for a callaham unit at some point.
Whenever I pass a tag sale, I always glance for guitar-shaped things, even if I don't stop.

I like that alot. Can't beat those older Japanese necks.
I'd get a parchment guard /backplate for that Fernades for authentic vintage guitar look,and if you have the yellowed original pickup covers I'd sa;p them on as well. I'd try and nab a cheap brass block. It would sound alot better than that pot-metal block even if your not a huge fan of brass.
oh yeah, and take that cover of the back right away please! lol.
it doesn`t have the small "custom body" sticker on the end of the headstock, every one pictured in my books have it or they have The Revival next to the Fernandes logo, and is anything stamped on the saddles?

Nothing on the saddles. It's slightly different than any one I've seen pictures of. I'm guessing it's one of the last ones made.
