    trouble with my muff

    I use a Big Muff a lot.

Got a new one, plugged it in and it worked fine. I used my Blues Deluxe, had my Strat plugged into the first insert and had all the cables in the right spot.

The third time I used it nothing would happen. I could play fine with it not on but when I pushed the button down to use the pedal no sound would come out of the amp. I double checked the way everything was plugged in--good. Checked the cables--good. Checked the battery--it was good. I went ahead and put a new battery in it just to be sure--still would't work. The pedal was never dropped.........Any ideas anyone??

From owning about five EH pedals, check the connectors on the battery snap and where the battery leads connect to the board.

yeah, the EH pedals seem to be notorious for the power supplies (be it battery or jack) to be a little less than adequate.

I've had the same thing happen with a Boss MT-2... I'm currently trying to track down that problem now.
