    seymour duncan jd pup

i just installed one in the bridge of my 69 thinline and when i fip to the mid postion i get a big drop in vol and gets kinda thin. the neck pup is a custom shop job not sure of model though. i like the tones of both pups and im trying to have the best of both worlds. is ther a way to wire them diffrent to get the full vol when both pickups are working? or is this the way its gonna sound with these pups. thanks!

BTW im gonna open her up again so ill see if i can post some pics of the strat pup.

Duncans are typically out of phase with fender pups when wired per SD instructions. Just swap the positions of the hot and ground on the SD pup and you will be in business.
