Man, am I glad we stopped playing this bar

The names haven't been released, but when we would set up, these three people would be the only people in the band room, playing hip-hop on the juke box and playing pool.

I feel glad to have ignored them.

We haven't played the place in over a year.

    Whoah!

We used to play a place like that in the 70's, a bar called The Vanishing Point that was a center of bad news. Our last night there included a room-clearing warning shot fired by a police officer. I think it burned down in the 90s.

Well, there was always something wierd about that place. I mean, I never saw any drugs there, or any violence, or anything. There was just nobody there. I just chalked it up to the place being poorly run.

Then again, I guess I've blissfully naieve of that stuff since high school

    Wait a minute.
This implies that there's a demand for illegal drugs outside of "urban" areas.

That was the thinly veiled subtext when this story came up on my local weather/traffic station.
And you know what "urban" means.

What the hell is with that girls hat?

Also, I am glad for you that you had no association with those guys. I don't understand that whole lifestyle anyways.
