    Effects chain order

Can someone help me with placing the following effects in the best possible order:

Teese Picture Wah, Tubescreamer/OD pedal, 2nd TS/OD/Boost pedal, Fuzz pedal, chorus pedal (may end up not using this), fuzz pedal, delay pedal, tuner.

Also, I would like to put all of the above in a loop through a true bypass box/switch of some sort. Except for the Wah, which has a true bypass built in.

    Thanks in advance!

My understanding for the order (& from an old Ibanez pamphlet) is:
    Comp/sust---OD/Dist---Chorus/Flange/Vib/Phase, etc....---EQ---Delay/reverb.

I run my tunner first in line.

Also it's not the norm but for me the Comp/Sust works better after my OD. But it's usualy recomended first in line.

    effects order

Go with the order that sounds best. Use this rule- If it sounds good the way it is and you're satisfied, go with it, if it sound's like hell, stop and start all over again. You have to fiddle until you get it right.

I think you can get cool sounds messing with the order of your pedals, especially when you through a OD pedal BEFORE a wah. I settled on:
    1. filters (wah)
    2. OD Distortion pedal
    3. time based effects

You also have to look at which effects should go between the amp and guitar and which work better in a loop.

Check the following thread from Cafe Wah. I had the same question a while ago.

    i generally go with:

    crybaby->sparkle drive (set to clean boost)->ts 9 tubescreamer ->
danelectro cool cat chorus->boss dd-3 delay-> (sometimes another dd-3 delay) -> hot rod deluxe (set on clean channel).

i've not dicked with the effects loop really as i don't have enough cords to get freaky with it. lol...i've spent a bizillion dollars on my guitars and effects, but am still too cheap to get extra patch cords.

I run a wah to an overdrive, to a delay, to a noise gate.

I read somewhere that wah's work best then first in line.
