    'Shifty7' Strat

What do you think? I had two 'S9' serial Squiers, I took the neck off one and the body off the other, the necks on these are awesome! I used wood stain and a few scratches to age a parchment coloured 8 hole pickguard. I bought some nickel split shaft tuners and mixed them in a jar with some vinegar, gravel and a handful of rusty screws. Then I added a decal and distressed it a bit. Next up is an ash body shot with nitro and new pickups and pots. Its not ment to fool anyone, I just enjoy messing about with guitars

Thanks, I already use GFS quite a bit, in fact I have some of their 'blow-out' ceramic pups on order for my other Squier. For this one I wanted something a little more special, what are the higher end GFS pups like?
