    Tonal Nirvana...

I think I've stumbled on it (that is if Scotty Moore or Dwight Yoakam is your thing)...

You guys ever play one of these?

What an outstanding guitar for it's price! Playablility and tone were superb! Finish was a little iffy...there were heavy concentrations of metalflake in some of the contours so it wasn't a perfect finsh, but the sound was AWESOME!

Disclaimer...I played through a few amps (supersonic, Blues Jr., Valve Jr) that didn't do the guitar justice, but then I plugged into a blackface Super and it came alive. Then I switched to an Orange Tiny Terror running into a Dr. Z 2x12 and it sounded SPECTACULAR. Finally, I plugged into a Dr. Z Maz Jr. and then I got to thinking about selling all my gear to fund this combo!

Anyway, if you guys have played one of these Epi's, I'd love to hear your opinions! What a bang for the buck!
...and on the 8th day, God created the Super Reverb and there was ROCK, and it was GOOD!

Oh yeah, if you get too close too the amp, she'll do the ol' Nugent, "blow the balls off a chargin' buffalo from 30 paces"! The guitar starts to shudder before she uncorks! I'm really liking it more for the cleaner rockablilly type stuff tho.

Those Dr. Z amps knock my socks of every time I play one. Wait, I've only played 1...

I'd buy a combo if they weren't so damn expensive.

Oh man, I've got to find a way to get my hands on one! The Tiny Terror was damned cool too! I think that would make a fantastic practice amp. I could play all night with that thing on 7 watt in my practice room and the sleeping family would never hear it! I was afraid to plug into the Divided by 13 amp after playing the Dr Z. That thing was $3000 and I really don't want to know how good a $3000 amp sounds!
