Hello to all i am new to the forum and to fender basses. i just recently bought a fender p bass standard and love it. it is currently black with a white pickguard and i was thinking of replacing my pickguard with a gold anodized one. the only one i could find is a 57 10 hole pickgaurd. i was just wondering if it will fit mine and if it will look dumb due to the extra holes?

thank you, i have been looking and i am pretty sure that it will fit but i don't want to drop the money unless it will, i sure as hell don't want to drill any new holes.
it'll fit, you might have to plug and redrill a couple holes, but that's pretty much the norm anytime you change a guard.

does anyone know where i can find a gold pickgaurd for a p bass that is not a 57 reissue?
