Albert Lees used to be a committed Fender telecaster player way back when.
He has changed to Music man Guitars now (horrible shape).
Does anyone know where I can get any pictures of him playing a Tele??

I can't beleive that there is no-one in the forum who can find a picture of Albert with a tele! !
I read your original post a couple of days ago, and I was all ready to say "Dude, just do a Google image search" -- then I tried it myself and couldn't believe how hard it was to find a pic of him playing a Tele. I looked through the first six pages of results and finally found one -- count 'em -- black and white picture of him with a Tele. It was on the cover of some (presumably) old instructional video he made.
After that, I gave up. Just how long has he been playing that Music Man?!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Clapton looked disgusted. I wonder what that was about.

I really didn't enjoy that. My on-and-off spiritual quest to get in touch with my inner "country boy" is just going nowhere, I'm afraid.

I'll bet you don't have any Elvis in you, either.

(In a wounded Dan Quayle voice:) That sir, was uncalled for.
Actually, while I don't care much for rockabilly, I love Elvis. I don't much like country, yet I think Johnny Cash is amazing. I've never been much into folk, yet Dylan blows me away.
Some artists are bigger than entire genres, it seems to me.

Albert Lee's _nose_ might be bigger than a whole genre, though.
And for that matter, have you noticed the striking resemblance to the shape of his signature MM guitar?
There really is a lot of Albert in that guitar...

Hey Wilko, cant thank you enough for this vdeo mate.
A right cockney knees up!!
Almost missed Eric in the audience - only saw him the second time I watched it.
Any chance of getting a copy of that clup?
I cant download it with Orbit.
Wow, those are the most well-groomed rednecks I've ever seen!

It ain't pretty. It looks like a 1950s comic book artist's idea of an electric guitar.

You can include me in agreeing that it's one ugly piece of wood.
But when Albert plays it it suddenly become VERY beautiful ! ! !
I don't like the sound of Albert's guitar. too clean and sterile sounding.
I really love his playing with Emmylou, but, (to me), sometimes this kind of stuff veers into what I call "stunt country." It's like shredding or some sort of Al DiMeola experience happening at a barn dance.
BTW- the MM90 (EB's take on P90's) version of the Albert Lee Signature Model is an incredibly cool instrument. What a neck on those things!
You'd soon find yourself oblivious to what it looked like.

I thought his portrail of Igore in Young Frankenstien was brilliant. Saddly no telecaster shots, even in the theatrical numbers.
