I asked this question over at the FDP, and I haven't got a lot of response, so here we go.
I have one of the new Squier Esprits, and I hate the pewter finish on the pickups and hardware. Mine is the Vintage bursts and it just screams for a Gold or nickel set.
I have measured the hardware etc. and it seems to be the same dimensions as the Epi/Gibson style hardware. I have several other guitar and amp purchases on the go so I would like to do it on a budget.
If anyone has done this I would appreciate what specific parts fit.
I am thinking of just recovering the pickups if the Gibbys will fit. Also what pegheads fit? I am hoping not to have to do any woodwork.
