I knew it would GJ.....heh heh. What's with the "super sustain hard ash"? I guess it is harder than swamp ash but it appears to be just as light? So why use swamp ash?

My swamp ash tele is a lot lighter than that, and it sustains just fine. Can't you just hear the sustain? Well, if I were playing it, anyway... :P

That charcoal frost would be an excellent choice for a swingin' cowboy-noir horse.

    Maybe install a Parsons-White...

... and get some crazy nickname inlayed on the fretboard?

... or some tasteful lap-steely art deco inaly scheme.

And a cartoon rope-swinging crime-fighting horse decal on the top.

I thin inlay would be the way to go.
A white horse would look good in pearloid, I thin.

At over 5 pounds, that body ain't light. Probably it's just a really heavy piece of swamp ash. Not so comfortable to play, but it probably does sustain for days. Marketing 101: every cloud (heavy) has a silver lining (sustain).
