    '62 Reissue Trem Bridge

I recently bought a Highway one strat, its brand new but a leftover from early 06 and has the small headstock. Im doing some upgrades, CS 69 picups and I want to at least upgrade the trem block, I was going to get a calaham block but now I see fender makes a 62 reissue bridge but I cant find any tec info on it, string spacing or if its a drop in replacement for my guitar. Does anyone have any info or experience they can share . http://www.musiciansfriend.com/docum...361340&index=0 http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...dge?sku=361340

    Thanks : JOE

Vintage US Strat string spacing, such as that repro '62 trem bridge, is 2 7/32 inch from E to E string. If your Highway One guitar has that measurement then you should be good to go for either replacing the entire bridge or using the upgraded Callahan trem block only. If your guitar uses the reduced "Asian" string spacing (2 1/16 inch) you're still in luck because Callahan also offers a block for that bridge. Best of luck.
