Tele neck

Will a tele neck fit on a strat or will I have to mod it to fit???? I want my strat to be diffrent from every other strat out there.

You will have to mod it to fit.

Used to be, Tele necks had a much squarer heel than Strats, so to fit a Tele neck to a Strat, you'd have to shave the Tele neck or square out the Strat's neck pocket.

I have, however, put recent Tele necks on Strats with no problems, so I think they're using more of a "universal" heel these days.

So, the answer is, it depends on how true to vintage specs the Tele neck is.
