Whats you favorite tele Color? And why?
I absolutely love vintage white blonde finish. To me it can go with any fingerboard and still look cool.
So whats yours?

Fiesta Red. I just like it. It reminds me of vanilla ice cream with strawberries blended in.
Mine is the gun metal blue (I think that is what they called it but it looks kinda iced blue in certain light) of my 92 American Standard. Why? It just looks cool in my opinion.
Runner up? butterscotch blond. never looks dated imo.
Whatever that Gold colour is on the Gatton model. LPB Metallic that has been gently aged is another favorite.
I like em with no paint it just seem's right for a Telecaster.
Im the silent one
You simply can't beat an old Butterscotch Blonde. How can you top a Nocaster?
I like 3 tone burst with a maple neck. My Donahue has the SRVish 3 ply black guard, but I like 'em with white guards too. There's a color pic of a 3 tone ash/maple/white '57 in the The Fender Amp Book.
I'm quite partial to aqua-marine metallic (:tw59 ), but my favorite is the natural ash finish on the American Series. Beautiful.

When I bought my Strat Plus back in '92 I remember really liking the gun metal blue Tele's. That is a very cool color.Originally posted by Stroker Ace

3 tone or 2 tone (ash) w/ Maple Neck.
Butterscotch and White Blond are nice as well.
Why did Fender discountinue the White Blond finishes?
(I own a WB Am Jazz Bass and WB Am Deluxe Precision Bass and the both look stunning)
You can still get the White Blonde on the 50's Classic MIM Tele.
I like the Butterscotch Blonde or the White Blonde with a blk guard or on the white blonde a tortise shell guard looks cool.
I also like 2 tone sunburst with a white pguard.
All black Teles with double white binding and white pickguards also look real cool.
I have a few; but all with maple fretboards.
1. Black with a white-pearl pickguard.
2. White blonde with either a white-pearl, black, or tortoise pickguard.
3. Lake Placid Blue with a white-pearl pickguard.
Cheers,
3 tone burst with maple neck, also.

Tweed sounds better
tweeddeluxe,
Sweet combo there. How did you get that bridge on an american standard/series? Or is it a partscaster?

Are you serious? If so, where are they?
here is a link, supposedly its just a rosewood veneer over alder. I have no Idea what the other specs are but I love it.

to revive i say 3tsb w/rw board
White Blonde with tortoise pick guard and rosewood fretboard. My friend has a 1966 and it's beautiful. I have an Am Dlx with that combo that I bought from PC.
Blonde
As much as I love a classic Nocaster look, my fave it actually the aged look of the old trans-cream "blonde" finish. SOrt of a banana pudding:
Blonde/Butterscotch
My favorite will always be classic butterscotch with a black guard, like the one in TFF's banner. But man, I've seen so many other gorgeous Teles. That Custom Shop rosewood one that somebody recently posted pics of is stunning, and wingnut's white Tele with black binding (above) looks great to me.

Butterscotch or Black with a double-bound Body like the 62 reissue for me.
RIP Lacey Cat 1992-2009
I'm partial to Transparent Orange.
and Rosewood.
Dakota Red!
Vintage 2 tone sunburst.

But seriously, butterscotch. Second place for normal colors is powder blue or w/ever fender calls it.
