    John Mayer's Pickups?

Does anyone know any specs on what Mayer uses in his own guitars?

A2's, A5's, flat/staggered pole, vintage wind, med, hot?

The John Mayer Fender model have specially wound pickups. you would have to check the Fender site.

His non-signature models, I would guess he used the standard 50-60s pickups. One of the keys to his "reverb sound" is this.

I read an article, Guitar Player I believe (last year) that he likes low output single coils, so I'd think vintage output. Sorry if that's not much info. I am a fan for sure. The guy gets mad respect as far as I'm concerned, but I like the TRIO stuff w/ Steve and Pino the best.
