    The Core...feasible live?

I'm thinking I'd like to play Clapton's The Core live. We have a female powerhouse for a singer and I think we could cover it no problem. The problem is the song is 8 minutes and 40 seconds long. The vocals end around 6 minutes and I think we could end the song around there. From 6:00 to 8:40 is a lot of wankering to the basic riff. What do you guys think?

Sure. We did it with our old keyboard player, and with our new one, we'll probably do it again.

Our version wasn't/isn't 8 minutes though. I get bored soloing that long. Just imagine how the audience feels.

That's exactly why I thought I'd like to cut it off around 6:00. 6 minutes is still a very long song!
