    Birthday guitar

    I asked this question some time ago on the LPF but I want to find Guitars that were made on my birthday. So i know the serial number to look out for a Gibson but what would it be for a Strat or Tele? my birthday is the 20th Sept 1980.

    I'm not sure if it will break it down to a specific day of the year, but if you go to www.fender.com and look around some of the links, there is one that will lead you to a formula for dating a Fender. I'd check there.
