Hey, JustJazz..it's hard to catch the sarcasm in text. But the little green smiley guy is what we use to insure that we're teasing and not seriously insulting folks. A colon-D is all you need.

Nobody's particularly sensitive here that I know of. But as NT said it can be hard to detect sarcasm in an internet post, and I don't think that has much if anything to do with living or not living in Canada.
As was also said, one has the right to express an opinion and likewise has the right to be opinionated, just be careful what you type, especially when you're new. People don't like being insulted, and there's actually a rule here against that.
Or maybe you're right, maybe we just don't understand your "special brand" of humor yet.
