children songs - base for solos?

I don't know why I just realized this, but on Whippin Post on LAFE, at 17:53, that section of the solo is the tune from the children's song, Frere Jacques.

Listen closely and you'd be surprised at how many other songs will be quoted (even if it is only a measure or two) in lots of solos, etc. For example, "Joy To The World" was a popular ending used by Duane Allman on "You Don't Love Me".
