Thanks Refin ,I am told that it is all original but could you tell me how one knows if the paint is original?
If I were going to spend 5 Large on a guitar I would find someone who knows their stuff and pay a small fee if necessary to authenticate the bass.Heck,maybe they would settle for dinner---better to invest $50 than get taken for that amount X 100!

Overpriced, IMHO.
Be patient and that $5K will buy a nice vintage Jbass.
There are many online resources to determine the "correctness" of that guitar.

Everything about the wear on that instrument looks fake to me, but especially the weird business on the headstock, which I can only assume is there to misdirect you from wondering about the decal.
