rare Masterbuilt

Hi i just got a blue gold leaf masterbuilt mandolin with 5 strings. It was one of 3 but the only one in its color built for Maestro Alex Gregory. Was 1800 too much to pay?

i also forgot to mention that a few parts were custom machined like the bridge and its on a koa body.

Looks really cool, and the intrinsic value is high, but the resale market may be pretty small for such a unique instrument.

i have its CS Tele brother in a lime and gold finish!i like that finish a lot and i think it must be expensive and time consuming to do-HWIW i paid a little less than you did for my Tele with bbender-
