    Jack De Keyzer!!

.....another great blues player I heard fairly recently, guys name is Jack De Keyzer, a Canadian.

anyway, I saw him in a small club in Port Credit, played a strat into a silverface fender of some sort. ( pro reverb maybe?) sounded mighty fine!

I picked up his cd "6 string lover" some GREAT playing, & cool B3 organ too.

anyone in the toronto area, I think he plays around here pretty often.

Jack's a GREAT Tele player. He was in my friends band The Bop Cats for quite some time and I saw him dozens of times with them. In addition he's married to an old friend of mine plus I still see him play almost every time I'm in TO. He's played with what has to be a Who's Who of roots music.

    way cool!!

just noticed he's playing here again next weekend, I'll have to scoot down there. nothing like killer live blues. he did a great version of little wing at the end last time.

too bad the place isn't a bit bigger, it was packed.
