    Pickguard for American Deluxe P-bass?

I have tried, and tried, and tried to find a pickguard for my '99 american deluxe p-bass, but to no avail. Rather than having to get a custom made (expensive) pickguard, does anyone know where i could find one (used or new)? Prefferably tourtoise shell or pearlized...

According to their website, Fender doesn't even make one.

It's not that expensive to send a tracing to Warmoth, is it?

(I have one of these basses and love it, BTW...)

I could, but being the procrastonater(?) that I am, that would take time and stuff. I would like to be able to hot swap it, instead of taking off the pickguard, tracing it, snail-mailing it in, wait for them to cut it and stuff, wait for them to ship it back, and pray that it makes a true fit. With a OEM one i can just try it and bring it back if it doesn't work. But i'm just lazy... I guess...

I've run through two retail pick guards for my Jazz, and they were both slightly irregular, likely a function of the both the guard and the guitar. I ended up having to shave them in different places, and the screw positions were just a shade offcenter.

    Heh, screw positions.
